General policies and procedures followed by the Cashiers.

Fee Payments

The cashier window will accept cash, check or pin-debit.  Credit card (MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) payments on student accounts must be made on-line via TruView.  Students are encouraged to pay by mail, e-check, and credit cards online via TruView to avoid long lines at the cashier window.  Never send cash by mail.  A payment drop-box is located outside the cashier window for your convenience.  Always include the student name and ID number on check payments.

Student Paychecks

A student's account must be in good standing with all past due charges paid before checks are released. A picture ID is required to pick up paychecks.

Check Cashing

Personal checks payable to Truman State University or checks from parents payable to students for up to $75 are eligible to be cashed if the student's account with the University is in good standing. A picture ID is required.

Loan Payments

All types of loan payments (emergency, Perkins, cultural, etc.) can be paid at the cashiers' window or mailed.  Loan payments may also be paid online at http:\\myloan.truman.edu.
