General policies and procedures followed by the Cashiers.Check cashing
Personal checks payable to Truman State University or checks from parents payable to students for up to $75 are eligible to be cashed if the student's account with the University is in good standing. A picture ID is required.
Student paychecks
Student's account must be in good standing with all past due charges paid before checks are released. A picture ID is required to pick up paychecks.
Fee payments
Cash, check, money order and credit cards (Master Card, Visa and Discover) are accepted. Students are encouraged to pay by mail or online at TruView to avoid long lines at the cashier window. Never send cash by mail.
Private scholarships
All private scholarships requiring endorsement must be signed at the cashier window in order to be applied to the student's account. If funds remain, a refund check will be issued.
Loan payments
All types of loan payments (emergency, Perkins, cultural, etc.) can be paid at the cashiers' window or mailed. Loan payments may also be paid online at http:\\myloan.truman.edu.
