Meal plans for the residence hall cafeterias are available to off-campus students. The purchase of an off-campus meal plan will be available online for fall and spring semesters. You may access the website by clicking on the "Off-Campus Meal Plan" link in the My Accounts channel on the Student tab in TruView, or the meal plan may be purchased at the Cashier window in the Business Office, McClain Hall 105.
For the 2011-2012 academic year, the off campus rate will be $1,145.00 per semester. This payment will provide a choice of one of six options:
225 meal block per semester (no dining dollars);
210 meal block with $50 in Dining Dollars per semester;
185 meal block with $100 Dining Dollars per semester;
165 meal block with $150 Dining Dollars per semester;
145 meal block with $200 Dining Dollars per semester; or,
20 meals per week plan plus $50 Dining Dollars
The Dining Dollars are for flex spending on food items (except in Main Street between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. daily).
The Bonus Bucks program is another option for students who want to purchase food or additional meals in the residence hall dining rooms or the Student Union Building. Bonus Bucks may also be used to purchase items in the campus convenience stores. Bonus Bucks are sold in increments of $25, $50, or $100 in the food service contractor's office in the Student Union Building.
Students who have excess Truman academic scholarships living in Campbell or Randolph Apartments may use up to $200 per semester to apply toward the purchase of Bonus Bucks or up to $1,145.00 for an off-campus meal plan. The Bonus Bucks purchased with excess Truman academic scholarship must be arranged at the Cashier window. Students who live off-campus are not eligible to use excess Truman academic scholarship toward the purchase of Bonus Bucks or an off-campus meal plan. However, the meal plan may be purchased online via TruView (instructions above).
